Although Piglet&Chestnut has turned into a full time job for me, I absolutely love it. Yes, sometimes it can be difficult. When you’re running a small business from home, there is no real break from work. Some days are harder than others. Whether that’s juggling orders, replying to emails and messages, keeping socials afloat, it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming…okay, a lot overwhelming.
But this makes me even more grateful for the orders I get where I HAVE to sit down and do nothing except make. This week, I posted out one of my large macramé tapestries and I thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in all the knots, all 1202 of them! I find it so therapeutic and it’s one of the reasons I’ve been driving the DIY Kits so much because if you’re able to, macramé doubles up as a wonderful form of therapy in my opinion. So even if you don’t fancy trying your hand at macramé, here’s a little reminder to take some time out to craft.
